First time to scuba

Indonesia

Tomorrow NDC team and I will dive in front of the jetty for the underwater survey for making Mini House Reef. I have been snorkeling for two weeks there and found out that there are a lot of wonderful creatures. However, I cannot see through below because of the mud. The problem is that there is a river nearby. However, the last time I snorkeled with a friend we could see through below. Tomorrow will be my first scuba dive too. I have already got intro to scuba a couple of weeks ago but just got the time to do it real tomorrow. I hope to have a very good experience tomorrow. Wow... just can wait.

Wow, you snorkel and now you're diving! That's really nice. So you do now have a diving license..? Im not really familiar with these things, sorry. Anyway, Ive only tried snorkeling once and it was indeed a very beautiful sight under water. The deep end and dark water is kinda scary but I really wanted to catch or touch the fish with my hands. They seemed so close underwater but when I went up and saw where my hand was only up to, it was still a long way away from the actual fish I do wish to experience scuba diving someday, at least once. I wish to "walk" on the bottom of the ocean and see the coral reefs up close. But resources are scarce and I do live in a landlocked city. So, it will be a long time before I can try something like that. Well, goodluck on your adventure!

Hei there, There will still long way to have license. But living and working in dive center is one of good things to do diving. When I snorkeled I touched and catched some little fish. I could do it after my first week of snorkeling. Hehehe... today when I dived with friends... It was obviously wonderful. I was in awe underwater. I could see the fish right in front of my face. I don't know how to tell it to you, nor to start from where. Because it's too beautiful. My goodness, the school of fish, the colorful color. I could see the fish swim along side me and the friends. They were in many shapes and color too. I really hope that you also can have scuba diving in the near future. As Philipine is an archipelago too. I believe that there are many dive sites there. I also want to try scuba diving in your country as I got my license.

Oh? How long will it take you to get your own diving license? That is soo cool. You are very lucky to enjoy your work. Yep, there are many dive sites in the country but like I said I live in a city that is at the center of the Region. I have to travel far just to get to the shoreline. Well, sure, you can come on over and enjoy.^_^

Once you are doing Scuba Diving, you would never wanted to snorkel ever again! Diving is so much fun and so many things to spot! Having the feel of zero gravity underwater is just magnificent experience. Glad that you found your favorite spot. If you are more interested, try free diving or skin diving, they are quite fun and a lot of things to learn too! The best thing is, they are free hahaha. Anyway, good luck and dive safe!
