I just became self employed as of today and should have my own website up and running by the end of the weekend. Can anyone give me some good advertising sites or socializing sites that I can advertise my business on? I don't care if they pay you to advertise on them or not. I also don't care if I would have to pay them for advertising with them or not. I just want to get the word out about my business. Please let me know if they pay or if I would have to pay them in your response. I altready know about MySpace, FaceBook and Twitter. Anything else out there? Thanks in advance.

What does your business consist of? Do you make handcrafted items? If you are into crafting I can tell you of a few sites where you can market your items.

That was answered in my first response but it's Avon. I am interested in your sites though. I do like to make crafty things.

After I responded from the email notification I saw that it was Avon. Anyway, here is a craft site where you can sell your crafts: http://madeitmyself.com There are others like etsy.com and I don't know the names of other sites for selling handmade things.
