You should try reading the last book, The Deathly Hallows. It answers that question pretty thoroughly.

Yeah, I was going to answer similarly. It is not like it is a secret who he ends up with since the book has been out a while now. Of course, those that only follow the movies would have to wait a few years to find out or just read the book, which is way better than the movies anyways.
