Here's your (not so) totally useless fact of the day: Americans today consume nearly the same number of calories per day as Americans did in 1910, but the weight of the average American has increased substantially due to lack of exercise. Let's get moving

Perhaps there are two faces to the solution. As you mentioned, one is to get moving. It seems the other side of the solution is to decrease calorie intake. Perhaps it could also be about partly switching to acceptably filling and satisfying low-calorie food?

I know from experience just walking makes a difference. I injured my leg and gained 25 pounds while not able to walk. I've lost it since it has healed enough that I can walk instead of using a wheelchair

I would like to thank whoever invented the electric wheelchair. Now thousands of super sized huskies can claim a disability, and wheel all over the store while buying their food, and running everyone over.
