Wow I don't think someone would survive that kind of crash when riding the 1959 model. Good thing new car models have been built with air bags and the car bodies are a lot stronger.

You'd have thought somebody in the big "Tank" of a car would have been safer than that..it just goes to show,the car body technology has come far in 50 Years..

In saying that,though,You have to remember the Old Chevy IS (or WAS!) 50 years old when that test was carried out..
