Aussies again at the no.1 spot in ICC RANKINGS

They are still fourth in test match rankings though, and have only moved up to number one in one day rankings. They may be beating England 6-0 with one match to go, but they are playing a shockingly bad England team, and without Freddie or Pietersen there is no-one explosively destructive in the England team.

ya very good performance by Australian team in one day matches with England team. they come back back stronger and stronger. they have the capability to win 7-0 in the ongoing match. don't underestimate them. very good performance by ricky ponting in that matches. we have to wait for see what will happen there.

It is not the greatest of Ricky Ponting, it is the weak England team which made Aussies to win series in such a fashion. Horrible team is the present England side, no quick firing openers and bowling is below average. Ashes was luckly won by this weak England team but their weakness are well highlighted by the Aussies team in ODI's. Let us see how these teams will perform in ICC Champions Trophy..

They have beaten a side weaker to the level of Zimbabwe or any other non-test playing nation, and more than they playing well.. poor cricket by english team has contributed to there win. there is not much in the ranks but still can say for sure they will not be on top spot for long..

well, they may be number one but i think they have lost their way a bit after, gilchrist and hayden have got out of their team, they were their key batsman and i think they should be back in the team as a sport lover i think they are the best pair and they still play explosive cricket.

Ozs played a fantastic game of cricket for last few weeks, they deserve it. I think English side is not at its best taste, they are missing kp and fredy quite large.As a result of this Champions trophy is my favorite for this season.....INDIA has to speed up to overcome the Aussies.Brett lee back to the form ,new good opener, stable middle order is what they achieve.

Hi mate. The ranking wont be staying for longer. Let the champions trophy is over and Aussies will go down once again in Rankings. With an English team sans FREDDIE, PIETERSEN and some good players like BELL, HARMISON & COOK, I think anyone can beat England. Hence it is of no surprise even If Aussies go 100-0 up against the current English ODI team.
