I recently bought a locket and plan to put a picture of my late nephew inside it so I can keep him close to my heart as he is much missed. Do you have a locket? Who's picture do you have inside it? Why? Maybe you keep something else in it, what? If you don't have a locket who's picture would you have inside it and why?

Hi ya littleowl Well I got mine for £8 from Avon, so no you can get them for a reasonable price. Obviously it is not of great quality but it will do the job I want it to!! Cheers

No I don't have a locket now, I did get a beautiful silver antique locket from my sister via her little son. When her son was grown and married, I gave the locket to him to keep for his daughter and to give to her when she was 21. This he did and it has given me such joy to think that he did keep it for 21 years and then passed it on.

Hi there ANTIQUELADY I have 2 neices I don't see either but it doesn't mean to say that I don't think about them. My nephew was taken from us at such a young age, I also want my brother to see that I still think and care about his son. Thanks

I don't have a locket, but, if I did, it would definitely be of my sweetheart cat, Mija. She's the only family I have. Purrs, Catwoman=^..^= & Mija

Hi Humbug! What a wonderful gesture you want to do by putting your late nephew's picture in your locket. Keeping those you love close to your heart also helps you to remember them always. I have a locket and in it I have a picture of me and my sweetheart. I do because he was the one who gave me the locket and also for the simple fact that I love him.

Hi there ItalianAngel73 Awww that is so sweet. I would put my own kids in the locket but I have 3 and they wouldn't all fit in there and besides, my nephew is no longer with us so I will feel like he is with me all the time. I am lucky I can just look and see my kids, my brother can no longer see his son. Thanks

That's kind of tough one to decide because there is more then one person in my life that I love and care for deeply, so its difficult to choose just one picture or person to place inside a locket, so if I had a locket I would have a tiny family portrait made so that everyone who's important to me will be close to my heart.

Hi ya apples99 Well most lockets come with two places you can put two pictures in so you would be able to extend you photo a bit! Thanks

I have a very old cameo locket that my mother gave me years ago. I am 54 now and I keep a lock of my first grandson's hair in it and this locket will be left to him when I go up yonder. I am sure he will cherish it as I have all these years.
