which part of the news paper would you read first?

i find myself going straight to the comics section to burn off a little bit of stress. then i would go to the current affairs section and the world news headlines.

I read the headline first. It's the first thing I want to know, the biggest news of the day whether it's about politics, economy or foreign relations. These days I take extra interest on what's happening particularly in my country because the presidential elections is fast approaching (May 2010) and I want to be updated on the pre-election activities and about the candidates who are eying the country's top position.

I like the Lifestyle section in Manila Bulletin. It is very interesting for me. I am also tracked with the latest and the most updated trends and fashion in and out of our country. I can read the whole section. I am so amazed with the photos. When I get bored of reading editorials and very serious issues, I switched on the Lifestyle and get me interested to explore it again.

I would like to browse the headlines first.then i would choose news and economics column.i also like jokes and stories.

I almost always read the head line first, because i dont suscribe any newspapper and buy them if i c some thing of my interest, and usually they put my interest in the headline

i usually don read newspaper regulrly but when i read one i go staight to the sports page then the business page check out the markets ..politics are a strict no...and then may b i will check out the sensational newss running if any .........

I tend to read from the start of the newspaper as the biggest stories tend to be at the start. On the odd occasion I would go straight to the TV listings, however, if I really need to know when a TV program is on.

Hello mobhomeir.Well i do read newspaper sometimes i read newspaper and sometimes i read it from online.If i am reading a newspaper then i will always read first page and end up to go on second page i feel bored up.But if i am reading it online then i complete maximum points online slowly throughout the day.

i will scan and read first the showbiz section, i don't know why but i love to scan their first.. maybe i want to know the latest chicka all over the country..

Whenever i buy a newspaper i would first look at the news of the sports cause i am the great fan of cricket and football..and then i move ahead towards the international and finally for the national..sometime i go for horoscope too...i do believe in the horoscope...

The headlines first, then continue to the last page working my way from the last to the first page.

My hot favourite is the Sports Section. I always start from there.It helps me relax and then go into the rest of the news. The Front page seems have space only for politicians and accidents. The World News at least has something you learn about. Then finally on to the Financial Section which helps me earn my bread and butter- I am a Chartered Accountant by profession you see!

this is quite a relevant discussion. i myself hav my likes and dislikes. i usually solve the sudoku, then move on the sports page, then the local news and finally the international news.

It depends on the kind of newspaper. If it's a specific magazine, I'll turn the pages one after another. If it's a daily newspaper, I'll start the hottest title that I find on the first page. If I bought a lotto ticket the day before, I'll read right away the page containing the result.

I agree to you mobhomeir most of us read newspapers in our place and honestly speaking like what you have said we never start to read from the start and beside we only read first our favorite part. I see that your favorite part of the newspaper is sport page for the number one reason you love it. I notice in your primary picture that you are from the Philippines and i can say that most of the FILIPINO read it. Me too I'm a Filipino and i also read this part. But being honest to you mobhomeir, the most favorite part of the newspaper is the Horoscope Section because it helps me to guide in my daily life even though it is not true in some part, for the reason it's only a prediction and it is still depend on us if we will believe on it. First I check Entertainment-Movie section, comics and then will read the Main news edition. I am curios to see the Page3 at first because I always like to know about actors and actresses in the movie world.

Actually I seldom read newspapers for my main source of information is Internet. When I read a newspaper, the first glance is always on the first page. I'm so eager to know what has happened in this world. I guess most readers have the same habit as me. Then I would turn page to "business" in order to know the latest information of stock market. Here I could read some useful analysis articles, which could help me deal with my assets.

I will go first to the starting page which is full of national news and main news, then I go to business news, and then to regional news, and then other happenings in the area, then on to sports page, then on to the page dedicated to my local area. I read detailed into the political happenings in my country. I read about any personal story published. Also I like the technolgical stuff like new products. Travel pages also are a hit for me. I love to read about new places. Also I like good photos.
