Gone With The Wind has been a film favorite for years. My favorite scene is the ending where Scarlett O'Hara is begging Rhett Butler to stay. What is your favorite scene from Gone With The Wind?

I also have a lot of favorite parts about this movie. One of them is after the war when Scarlett is in the field trying to find something to eat and she says "As God is my witness I'll never go hungry again".

I liked that scene too. it shows another side to Scarlett Ohara. Her character had a little of growing up to do. This is the moment she began to do a little bit of that. She became the strength of Tara when no one else could.

I think that the ending is my favorite part also. Those famous last words of Rhett Butler have always stuck in my head. Overall, I really enjoy the entire movie though. Unfortunately, it is such a long movir that I rarely have time to watch it.

You just can't think of Gone With The Wind and not hear frankly, Scarlett, i don't give a damn. Those words will go down in cinema history. Who would believe that such an old film will still be enjoyed by so many?

Hi sender, there's more than one but I do love the scene where Scarlett throws herself at Ashley's head down in the fields and begs him to run away with her, and once again he speaks of honour. She promises with great dignity never to throw herself at him again if he stays on at Tara and he gives her the clump of mud to signify her love of Tara above all. Love that scene.

I liked that scene too. Scarlett sure could throw a tantrum. For one minute she would be batting her eyes at her next suitor. Then she would turn around and cry about it. She knew how to get her way.

Hi sender! I love Gone With The Wind too. I had never seen the movie when I read the book around age 13. I'm not totally sure, but I think it had never been shown on TV yet at that time, which was the mid 70's. A couple years later it was shown at the theater, and I went with my Mom, who has always loved it, and a couple friends. I really thought it was a great movie then, and I still do. It's really hard to pick a favorite scene. Of course, the end is fabulous, even though it still leaves you wondering what will happen to Scarlett. Maybe that's part of what makes it so good!
