I know that work is one of our greatest responsiblities in life because with out it we would not have money to pay off bills and have money in general. But Many people including myself get depressed at work for alot of different reasons, So what troubles do you have at work that make you feel bad and how do you overcome that?

Yes, I really feel depressed. I have been in this situation since 2-3 years ago. I tried to find another job I have more interest on, but I haven't found one. You know, changing industry is always hard even if you've done enough prepration. What can I do? Just continue to find.

I think it is part of our daily lives that we become depressed in our work. But I think that when that happens in a regular basis, then that becomes not good for you in the long run. You should examine if you really want this job or not since if it makes you depressed in work then there must be something that you want in your life that you are not following. It is not a matter of overcoming it but rather trying to ask yourself if that job is fit for you or not. Jobs should not be thought of as a way to pay your bills off but something that you like doing in your daily life. It should make your life easier.

Nice post, really. Well, it's sad to say, but so many million people have meaningless, mechanical jobs that they don't even deserve the name 'work'. It's just industrial activity, totally separated from the human that executes it. It's our age, it's the way we live and produce that alienates many of us from what should be satisfying and meaningful work. And I'm not surprised that some get depressed. I'm a language teacher, by choice, because that's wher my talent lies, but most of the times I donĀ“t even consider it as work - it's what I do, what I am. Compare that with a Chinese factory worker on a minimu wage.....

Sometimes i am depressed at work , but sometimes i enjoy the work. Depend on what we think, because if we think positively, sure you will enjoy the work. By the way, that is only my opinion. So think positively and enjoy the work.
