Anelka wants a new contract

Nicolas Anelka has revealed that he wants to extend his contract at Chelsea and help the club lift some silverware this season.manager Carlo Ancelotti wants the Frenchman to put pen to paper on new deal.
anelka deserve a new deal. he has shown a great performance for chelsea this run

chelsea get banned from FIFA for 1 year
their star player is over 29
terry, lampard, ballack etc.
with no adding player for one year, their player will be "old"
but, in other hand will be more solid.
and 30 is the golden age for a football player to enjoy their best performance.
and the coach is one of the best in the game too
so, I think chelsea will have no trouble with the ban

i didnt agree with you. the succes for club in the season is how the coach can get a good quality players in a starting eleven and in the benchs.so if chelsea get banned, they can not to buy another good player to complete or make equal the quality between a starting eleven and in the benchs. so i think chelsea dindt have much options and only one choice, give new contract to anelka. this is my opinion

Reading your subject line I thought I was about the hear that Le Sulk is, well, sulking again. I guess you are right that he has been performing quite well for Chelsea. But it's my personal opinion that Anelka is not the striker to bring Chelsea to the promise land. Chelsea's Premiership and Champions League hopes lay with Drogba and Lampard. Anelka is just decent for a team that looks unbeatable this season. As a Manchester United fan, I am very worried about them, there is a certain Arsenal invincible aura about this Chelsea group, who have been under-performing for years now.

Drogba, Lampard and Terry and cech is the men of the game
but Anelka now score much. last season he was the top scorer for EPL
so, I think he deserve it :)

Hi solatjumat,
Nicolas Anelka deserve a new contract with Chelsea. He is a good player and a hard working one. He might not score as many as Didier Drogba but his contribution for Chelsea can not be forgot. He is a creative and his rules is same with Dirk Kuyt at Liverpool.
Chelsea also can not let anyone left Stamford Bridge especially for this 2 years because they can not sign any player during this time. They has to paid what they have done before by stealing others youth player.

Nicolas Anelka is very good support to the forward lineup of Chelsea.For past few matches he is a match winner too.It is better for them in my view to extend his contract rather then having some one else as he is quite familiar with all the members and this is the requirement.

yes ansh0727, Nicolas Anelka is a match winner For past few matches. he has a good support with didier drogba. they are hungry for goals. in the other hand, Chelsea handed transfer ban because of Gael Kakuta transfer
Fifa have banned Chelsea from registering any new players in the next two transfer windows.
they need to secure their first team player's service
