my father works in a far distant in our place. we communicate seldom because he is busy and so am i. but just a while ago, we chat and surprisingly he asked me if i already have a boyfriend. this did not came to my senses so i right away denied but the truth is i do have a boyfriend. my dad is kinda possessive with me because i am his only angel, an only child. if i will tell him the truth for sure i will hurt him so i did lie. im planning to tell him the truth when the right time comes.

interesting topic...
It is amazing that the truth has to be concealed sometimes for better good e.g. better father-daughter relationship.
But perhaps it is safe to make sure your bf knows the situation. That way, if needed, your bf could meet your father as one of your many friends. Who knows your father might get to like your special friend and approve, or even recommend, to have him as your bf :)
