If one of your close relatives was very sick, you were a match, and you were healthy, would you be willing to donate one of your kidneys to them? Would you be a little bit scared to do so, if you agreed be a donor?

Hi, I would only donate to one of my children. I would not want to risk them losing me, if i donated to someone else. Sounds selfish, but my children have to come first.

...Hi forestgold, Everyone has to make up their mind what they would do if they were in this kind of situation. If you donate a kidney, I have always wondered and still do, can they replace your kidney if it is rejected, or is it then worthless? I can understand your thoughts about a donation of a kidney. Thanks very much for responding. Take care.

I would donate a kidney in a heartbeat. But I would also be quite terrified because any surgery is a risk and it would be just my luck to fall ill. But yep, I have two, can get along with just one so I guess we are meant to share if need be. I'm also a registered organ donor

...Hi MsTickle. You have been so kind as to respond to several of my questions, so I am going to consolidate if you don't mind. First I think you are the greatest, to be willing to donate one of your kidneys without hesitation. More than kind. Next the person who would answer that he lies is giving a honest answer to the question and in my opinion as you stated a dishonest person. Finally it is impossible to tell the whole truth all the time as a human being, there are shaded areas. Next, you responded to one of my answers to one of your questions I think, and whatever you said :o), I basically agreed with you I believe. Take it easy.
