Magazine Subscriptions

You get free magazines? Where on earth do you get free magazines? I really don't read a lot of magazines. I like the reader's digest and I read some of consumer reports. I miss literary magazines with actual fiction in them. They seem to be going extinct these days.

That's great! I would love to get some free magazines too. Can you tell me the how you found the freebies? Are they one issue free or yearly subscriptions. I also love ALL YOU. I also really like Woman's World. Please tell me the secret for free magazines. Thank you!

I try and get as many free magazines as I can. I definitely consider myself a magazine junkie. I do buy some as well, and just recently bought two new subscriptions (to Gourmet and Poets & Writers). As for my freebies, I get Business Week, Forbes, Elle Decor, Metropolitan Home, Martha Stewart, and quite a few more that of course I can't think of at the moment. I am definitely the kind of person who never saw a magazine they didn't like. My biggest problem is not wanting to throw them away until I've read every article.

Hi Jennlk! One of my most favorite magazines is All You! I love the fact that i can get the coupons and be able to use them to help cut costs when i have to go shopping. The sad part of it is, i have to buy the magazine, and lately it just has not been possible. I like the womens magazines, and all the craft magazines, but i can never seem to be able to get them free. If you have any tips or advice please let me know. Thanks. Happy mylotting!

I haven't heard of that 'All You' magazine. I'll have to check it out. I'm not a big Wal-Mart shopper..But oh well. At home, I get Self (LOVE this one), Fitness, and Maxim (yes - weird, I know) in the mail under my name. For some reason I also randomly get RedBook on occasion - but not always. Not sure what's up with that or where it came from. I think I actually paid out of pocket for Self and got Fitness through CokeRewards of course. . At work is another story, though. We get Star magazine (gotta love the tabloids! lol), National Enquirer (even worse!), O! Magazine (or we used to, at least - haven't received any lately, though!), and a few others here and there. My old manager was a magazine FIEND and when she quit - she forgot (or decided not to) pick up the magazines that come to our store under her name. So we keep them and generally read them..It's enjoyable! I love reading magazines, ESPECIALLY while busting my butt on a tredmill or while bored at work. Even if they're not magazines I'm generally interested in..So long as they have pictures and semi-interesting articles - I'm all there! I love magazines. Plus, I love receiving stuff in the mail, too, it makes me feel special!

I read The Oprah Magazine and Woman Day. I have had many in the past but can't keep paying for them when I don't have a job. How do you get them for free?
