Have you noticed that after updating your windows, there is Lil bit of degrade in OS performance like the boot time increases or more hard-disk activity.. I have noticed this even if its minor update which only patches few files and doesn't involve in addition of new features as in Service pack installations.. I kinda don't understand why this happens even though it involves patching only existing files.. Even defragmenting doesn't help much.. Have you noticed the same.. Please share your thoughts.. Thank You.

yes, i purchased windows xp , and i was using it for 2 years , later windows established vista....i bought vista and i tried to install it in my machine, but it was not compatible, i was then forced to upgrade my computer , so i upgraded my computer and now i am using windows vista home ... i have noticed that it has occupied much of my hard disk space and memory.. speed has been reduced.. happy to respond.. happy mylotting..

Yes Vista consume lots of memory when compared to windows xp.. vista ultimate needs around 8Gb of free space during installation. Thank you for replying..
