Ok well my husband and I were watching the news this afternoon and seriously, omg what the heck. Supposedly some guy caused a bed bug in the problem. The librarian had stated that they had confronted the guy in the library and told him they think he had a problem and so that he needed to get it taken care of. I guess they supposedly saw them on him, I'm not sure because they confronted him about the problem. So well, anyways, the guy stated that he was aware of the problem and so the very next day, the guy shows up again. Well now, he has been banned from the library because of the bed bugs and on top of that he has been fined for bringing the bed bugs to the library and some of the books being destroyed. The amount for the charge was $12,000 dollars. I was like hmmm wow. Has anyone else heard this story on the news. I actually thought this was kind of funny as well.

I've heard about it and had it. Beware of bed bugs. A useful site to get rid of them is: http://758caee2.seriousurls.com

Ozone is the best way to kill bed bugs (bedbugs) regardless of where they are located. See NevadaOzone.com

Wow indeed! That's a hefty fine! I had to do a web search to find this story and obviously it's true. The book was returned to the Denver Public Library infested with bed bugs. A librarian discovered the bugs when removing the book from the drop bin. Here's a link to the story http://bedbugger.com/2009/09/23/denver-public-library-book-return-infested-with-bed-bugs/ The guy did this more than once even after being warned. He knew what he was doing and he continued to do it anyway...so he deserved the penalty. Obviously he doesn't have any respect for himself and the for the way he lives, so he is not going to respect anyone's property. With the way the economy is, libraries have to take care of the materials they have since they may not be able to replace the books so easily. Library users need to help take care of those books when borrowing. Who needs disrespectful idiots ruining our public libraries?!
