It is older than most people on here have been alive, but I like playing Exile...
What is that you might ask...Well it is an old Telnet\Dos texted based game. It has been around...well along time and is still running. I am not for sure who actually keeps up with the computer that it runs on.
anyway if you want to open a command prompt "if you do not know how to do this then chances are you will not like this game".
get to the root of C "or what ever drive you have windows installed on (c:\)"
then type the following
telnet exile.lurker.net 4000
Then press enter. You have now entered the text based PvP game. Think of it have the 80s version of World of Warcraft.

wow.. i never know that some thing like this is still exist since now all game are running in graphics mode...

you just need to chose a name "note that unless you are using a special mudd command program you will not be able to see what you are typing untill after you press enter". after you have typed in the name press enter and it will tell you if the name is already taken because if it is it will ask you for a password. If the name has not already been taken it will ask you to confirm the name and then to chose a password.
Please note that you should be able to find a lot of help once in the game by type /h
they have more help them the DOS operating system had...ok maybe not but at least there help actually helps :)

Hey,
I would have to say that my favorite computer game would have to be Age of Empires 3, because it is a really good game. I don't really play it that often anymore, but I love to play the game online though, really great! Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!

I too like NFS. And in NFS, especially this Underground 2. But my favorite game happens to be Project IGI 2. This is because, in this game, you can achieve your objectives in two ways. Kill every one and go for it or sneak past every one and kill only the ones necessary and achieve the objective. In most of the other games, stealth has very less chance but in this game, stealth is the main thing. Far Cry also depends a little on stealth but it is optional. We can dare and fight. So IGI 2 happens to be my favorite.
