Do you still wear wrist watch when you have digital watch in cell phone?

Today, my wife bought me a nice wrist watch. When I wore it, it brought back the memory of those old days when wrist watch was supposed to be a necessity. I am sure these days most of us have stopped using wrist watch, but I like wearing it because from now on I won't have to take out my cell phone every time I want to see the time. So, how about you people? Do you think wrist watch has its own advantage?

Yes i still wear a wrist watch though i have a digital watch in my phone. It helps me to see the time very easily. Also if i have an expensive phone i do not need to take it out every now and then.I use the phone only when i forget the wear the wristwatch sometimes when i am in hurry.I have got a lot of wristwatches with me.Two of them my cousin sister presented to me as she stays abroad and a digital watch my dad bought me when he went to USA.

I have never used my cell phone to see the time. Out of habit I always use my wrist watch. I do use the cell phone for putting the alarm every night though. Though I dont see any advantages of a wrist watch I am in the habit of having one on my wrist everyday for the past 35 years and cannot get rid of this habit.

I just recently saw my aunt wearing a watch and started to tease her about it. I don't know ANYONE that wears a watch anymore. I remember when I was a teen I couldn't afford a watch, so when I was out places and needed the time I'd look about me for someone with a watch on their wrist and run to ask them the time. You really don't see that anymore. When I was in the AirForce it was a required part of our bootcamp uniform to wear a watch. So, for a couple of years I was in the habit of always wearing a watch. But, then I started having a steadier supply of my phone around and I never wear a watch anymore. I think of a watch as more of jewelry, but it would be nice to own one again.

For me a watch is a watch and a cell phone is a cell phone. So i do stick to the conventional ways of wearing a watch because without it i fell incomplete.

i don't wear wrist watch but i should, even though i have digital watch on my cell phone, in my school its forbidden to use the mobile phone at class, even to look at the time, because last year there were big issues envolving cell phones during classes and tests, however i forgot to wear the watch and when i do i get my wrist sweaty and i take it off, maybe i should start using a pocket watch xDD

I haven't worn a watch for a lot longer than I've had a cell phone so I haven't had a watch in about 20 or 25 years

I still wear a wrist watch even though I have my phone clock as when I am working, Im not allowed to use my phone on the shop floor, plus I don't get signal either which uses up a lot of battery power as it is searching for a network. Even if I did use my phone, my trousers don't have any pockets in them so I wouldn't have anywhere to safely put my phone when not in use. I feel its alot safer in my locker since I cant use it at work. Having a wrist watch is alot easier as you just have to look at your arm and you can tell the time, whereas if you have to rely on your phone, you have to get it out from wherever it is, e.g your bag, pocket and then find out the time. I feel lost with out my watch on my wrist.

I do wear my wrist watch still, without it my arm feels bare. Also even though we have digital time on our cell phones, we have to be taking them out of our pockets or the case just to see the time, with a wrist watch on, we have the time right in front of our eyes.

In my opinion, is that. Wrist watch is only for fashion and not much need since our cell phone have it's own clock. I don't wear my wrist watch if not going to a far place this is in case I forget my cell phone that is only the advantage over cell phone.. Have a nice day!

Yes, I wear a wrist watch all the time. If the battery quits in it I have to go and buy another watch. I check my watch when I want to know what time it is not my cellphone. I have wore one for so long I can not stand it if I do not have one on my arm to check for the time.

I used to wear a wristwatch. However once I got a cell phone and my old one broke. I stopped. The only reason I wear one now is cause my work won't allow cell phones on the sales-floor. However since I haven't worn one in a year, it feels bulky and weird.

Just can't let go of the wristwatch. It's way more convenient that getting out the cell phone. Plus there are situations when you would not wish for people to see you checking on the time.

Yes, I do. Although I have a cellular phone, I find it more comfortable to look at the time using my wrist watch rather watch the time over my cellular phone.

I used to wear a watch during my school and college life. By the time I was working cell phones became cheap and had various functions in them. The wrist watch would make my wrist sweat and if the strap is made of metal then my hair used to get stuck in it. Now I just use the cell phone to check time and don't wear a wrist watch.

bracelet watch - I love bracelet watches.they're cute and functional
I love bracelet watches.it is actually a saver.I can use it both as an accessory and as teller of time.I can save from buying a separate watch and bracelet.I also love the charm accompanying the watch.

I always wore wrist watch when I was in school because celphones were prohibitted. During college, it was really important to have one because we frequently have esquisses which are times and you would really need to have a watch so you can plan the things you need to finish and you can allocate how many minutes a task should be accomplished. Thinking about it is like torture to me so when I graduated college, I started not wearing a watch but then eventually I realized that it's really so important so I am back to having one despite me having a clock on my celphone.

I don't usually wear wrist watch. I am not fan of it because I feel uncomfortable having something circling around my hand. I am forced to wear it when I am on duty because it is a necessity at work.
