decreasing life span over the years

before the 20th century our ancestors had long life span compared to this generation. the common age that a person dies before was between 80 to 90 but because of the advance in technology as well as other factors the life span have decreased between 40 to 50 which is very alarming. cancer is one of the causes of this shortening of life.

erm i think you have your information backwards...life span these days is much MUCH greater than our ancestors thanks to mainly the invention of antibiotics. life expectancy in north America is in the 80s now while not too long ago was in 50-60's.
