I am just wondering what gives a better increase in earnings, starting new discussions or responding to multiple discussions? Please share your experiences. thanks.

Hello Seekers, If you are talking about the increase of earning, why not you learn and see what you can earn at Mylot... Basically you can earn for yourself by : 1. response to others discussions. Write relevant content at least 3 full lines, so you get to earn something. The more responses you do, the more you can earn. Do remember write at least 3 full lines response. You get nothing for short response like 1 line or 2 lines. 2. Post a discussion and you get earn a few cents, that's it. You don't earn anything if you get response from others. BUT you can take your time to reply back to the responses you have received. Every reply you please make it at least 3 full lines , so you get to earn something. If your discussion get more responses, you can get more earning if you reply back to all of them. Do remember write at least 3 full lines response. You get nothing for short reply like 1 line or 2 lines.

I start my own regular discussions but I do spend the bulk of my time here responding because I enjoy the variety of topics and I like to join in my friend’s posts. I find it difficult to come up with good ideas sometimes and commenting on everyone’s responses does take a lot of time. I guess to answer your question, I would say that I enjoy doing both but my preference is responding. Earning wise I don't think it makes a great deal of difference, as long as what you post is of a decent quality you will earn regardless if it is a response or a comment.

I don't think it really matters. They pay the same for the most part, although I have discovered you can earn a little more if your discussion is popular. For me, it depends on what mood I'm in. If I'm feeling particularly creative I'll start discussions. If I'm feeling like the muse has left and I'm here trying to get restarted, I will answer posts.

Well, I think it depends on your preference. I am more of responding to discussions rather than starting one considering that I find it more easier to do. I find it hard to think of good topics to start with. So in most cases, I just respond. Though, I also start some discussions from time to time. Anyway, I think whether you start or just reply to the discussion, the points gained are the same.

I do not start many new discussions, so for me the best is responding to all the discussions that i can. Your earnings increase by posting it does not matter if you start a discussion or respond to one.

Hi Seekers, The most important is both are giving me an earning and I will always work harder for myself. I love to give my responses to people discussions.I like to share my experience with others and I always give comments to an interesting topics only. Sometimes, I will start my own discussions too when I have something new in mind. I hope can get more responses from my discussions as I love to read people responses and it will give me more ideas/knowledge. Basically, MyLot is the best website to share your ideas with people around the world.

Responding to a discussion and starting a discussion has its own advantages and fun. I love to respond more. But, sometimes I won't be able to find nice topics to respond. In that case, I think of starting discussions and I enjoy commenting on the responses I get for the discussion. I have a daily target to start three discussions, but it won't happen all the time.

I am pretty sure you earn the same amount for both, I think it has more to do with the content of your posts. But I also understand if you start a discussion and it has alot of comments that helps too. So I have been trying to come up with topics I think will get alot of discussions going on them.

I prefer to responding discussions (like what I'm doing now), because it's easier and all you have to do is to react to myLot user's ideas. Creating discussions is okay, as long as it is interesting and people can respond or people can relate to your topic. Happy myLotting!

From what I understand, I believe that they earn the same amount of money. I mean, if the discussion and the response are equally well written and all that jazz, then you'd get the same amount for both. The main way to ensure that you earn more money is to make well-thought out and coherent posts. :)
