Hey there friends, how many of you take a walk or jog everyday. I do a brisk walking of 6kms ever day in the morning in the beach. How many of you do it and where do you do it.

I walk everyday from my apartment to my office and back, I do this twice a day, cause i also go home during lunch breaks.. that's around 2 kms, so I walk around 8km a day.. i like walking cause it relaxes me, special if the weather is really good, there is some breeze, and the it's not so hot outside.. But if it's during the summer, I don't really go home during lunch, cause it's really hot outside, and just a few minutes, i would be sweating like hell.. hehe.

8kms every day is good. You should also do it during summer, because the more you sweat, the more the calories you burn, which is good for your health. Thanks for the response.

I actually like sweating, but the problem is, I'm going to work, so it's not really a good thing to be super sweaty when I arrive at work, and not while I'm in my office uniform. hahahha. though under normal circumstances, i wouldn't mind sweating too much, specially if I'm just in the house.

I would have wanted to do such things but I am to busy to do it. I used to jog every other day. But life for me got busier and often am traveling and conducting programs and training which is part of my work. Perhaps in due time I will be going back to such old routine. I know that it is great for health. So hopefully, I will be able to fit it in on my daily or every other day schedules.

Walking and jogging are the best medicines to oneself healthy and strong even in our olden days. I love walking but there are no places to walk here in my place. There a park but its very far away from my house and I have no one to company me there. I love walking but want someone as a partner to jog and run with me hours.

Always take a walk or jog alone. Do not go with a companion, this is because either he/she will be fast or slow. It is always better to walk or jog all alone. Thanks for the response.

I like walking. I think it’s a best way to lose weight and take break for me. I usually walk half hour daily. I push myself to go to local library by taking long way. I pass a green field and an allotment to get to the library. Then after one hour I walk back in same route. It’s a good exercise for me. I’m jealous of you. I wish I can walk by beach. I live so far to sea, it’s a pity. I wish one day I can move to a coastal place to live. Then I will run by beach every day.

Thanks for the response sblossom. Yes, it is a real pleasure to live near the coast.Even though during the summer, the humidity, gets you, and you tend to sweat a lot, but all is forgotten, when you go the beach and see the sand and the waves.

Hi Rameshkumaar, Your topic of discussion reminds me of how long I have not been doing any exercise. I always tell myself that I need to do some exercise, but then there is nothing can motivate me to do it,At last I ended up at home. Actually, I am quite interested in aerobic. I wish to join an earobic session next year after I sent my son for nursery.I will have more free time and Can arrange some new programmes for myself. My last walk was before I delivered my son. It is good to have a walk everyday during my pregnancy. My gynae advised me to have a walk during the last few months before my delivery is due. After worked, I will have a walk in a garden with my husband accompany. After my delivery, no more exercise for me. I guess taking care of my son is also apart of exercise for me at this point of time. Happy Weekend !!

Thanks for the response shia88. The problem with most of the nursing mothers, is they do not exercise properly, and tend to put on a lot of weight. After some time, you find it hard to get rid of the extra kilos. I do not know how old is your son, but if he is more than one year old, it is high time for you to get back into shape. I think you are 21 years old, and when you have a baby at such a young age, you must also take care of your body. You can also do some small exercises in the house itself to keep you fit.

I take a country walk most days, with my dog. I love also, to walk down by the bay.

I would like to walk every day but I live in an area where I'm not comfortable walking alone, so seldom get a chance to. I try to get as much exercise around the house as possible. Since I work on a computer all day, sometimes that's hard to do.

People who work on a computer everyday, should certainly get their daily dose of walking. Instead of taking a walk or exercise in the house, it is always better to go out and walk in the fresh air. Try to get some company, and do it. Thanks for the response.
