Hi there. Blu-ray is a fairly new type of media, which is used to store huge quantities of media. With that, film companies are able to release movies in high definition, so you will be able to watch movies of a greater sound and audio quality. It may increase your viewing experience but it is a more costly than DVD's. Would you guys transition towards this format any time soon? For now I will stick to DVD's as they are cheaper and their quality is still good for me.

I've had bluray for about a year. My PS3 plays blu ray. That's why blu ray beat out HDDVD, the playstation. I don't pay extra to enable my Netflix account for blu ray. It hardly seems worth it because it's a lot more but they don't have a whole lot of their dvds on blu ray. I do buy blu ray if I'm buying a dvd, though. Watching a blu ray dvd reminds me of what it felt like when I first got my glasses. I couldn't believe how sharp everything looked. The level of detail almost gave me a headache.
