Hi. I was just wondering about fast food and how full of junk most of it is. I think Subway and Tim Horton's are probably the "healthiest" of the fast foods. Which fast food chain(s) do you think is the healthiest?

Subway!!! I am sure you have all heard of the man who lost loads of weight from eating only Subway meals everyday. Jared Fogel lost 200 Pounds!!!!!! eating a six inch Turkey sub for lunch and a twelve inch veggie sub, crisps and a diet coke for dinner.

Exactly my point. Compared to the other fast foods, Subway and Tim Hortons have very healthy appearing sandwiches which probably are quite low on calories (as long as you go easy on the mayo). Even though they are fast food, they seem healthier than the rest...(which is mostly made up of lard, I guess) Any other healthy fast food chains??

As for healthy fast food overrall...There aren't any. With Subway, you get a stacked, foot long sandwhich for $5. For that much at McDonalds you don't get near as much when you add it up. Also in my opinion Subway tastes waaaaay better.

I think any food with less spices and ketchups would be healthy enough as they have got the healthy items added in them like the vegetables or fruits with some dry fruits too which are good for our health.

In my idea, a restaurant either produces healthy food or fast food. Fast food as I know it is fried potatoes in very bad oil. Chicken full of grease. Hamburguers that are not made from real meat. Tomatoes that are cut without checking if there´s a worm. They can´t do it otherwise because if they took more care, they wouldn´t earn so much money as they do. I think it´s better, if you must eat out and make it cheap, to find a little restaurant that does not belong to any chain. Maybe there you can have homemade unexpensive food. That would be better. But for me, the ideal is to eat at home or to be taken to good, expensive, restaurants. AS I can´t pay for the restaurants, I invite my friends to have a gourmet diner made by me and they, in turn, invite me out to eat well.

Is there such a thing as a healthy fast food? The fact that the food is processed means that it is full of salt and additives to make it last longer. It's not fresh and far from being healthy. I don't there's such a thing as a healthy fast food.

I rarely eat fast food, I usually take my lunch brought from home company, and then Fangbing Xiang, the noon, when the microwave. If we say that a healthy fast food, you can find some brand names, such as KFC, McDonald's, in our China, as well as Tiffany's, are very good, producing green food is relatively healthy.
