I am having a paypal 'Unverified' account. I wish to verify that account using my ATM Debit card of State Bank of India. I entered this card details to the paypal form. But it rejected saying "partial credit card". Now what I have to do. Any body can help me?

As far as I know, you can't verify your paypal using an ATM card. If you have UnionBank there in India, you can apply for an E-on Bank Card but if you don't, just apply for a credit card. There's another way. Buy a VCC (Virtual Credit Card). You can verify your paypal using this and is so affordable, only $7. You can avail one at www.virtual-cc.com. They only accept payments from Liberty Reserve so you better have one. I also got an unverified paypal and planning to verify it using a VCC. I will buy one once I receive my payment from myLot. Keep on myLotting!

Mean this debit card is not accepted by paypal. You need to get another debit card or credit card. Suggest use credit card with visa or master logo, then it shouldnt have any problem on it

Hi, Jose! Well, Paypal only accepts either a credit card or a debit card from the merchants Visa or MasterCard/Electron. Any ATM card is not accepted. Try to check with your local bank for the application process of a debit card. Normally, there will be minimal charges and you have to maintain a certain amount of money in the card.

That's funny, I thought you can get verified with either a credit, debit or checking account. Perhaps, Paypal rules and verification process vary from country to country. At any rate, Visa and Mastercard issued by any bank should be accepted. I speak of a verification process done 3 years ago. They sent me 2 small amounts in the account which was tied to my Paypal account. I confirmed these amounts and that was it. I could receive, withdraw, transfer money as I want. Hope this helps a bit.
