If we control impulse spending, that itself is saving. I am weak in it. The moment I see something, whether I want or not, I buy it and later it will lie waste in my house. Another thing, what our grannies did, leave some money in this bag, that box though it is small amount. One day you will be amazed to know the total amount of this put together will come handy for a big expenditure.

One of my favorite ways to save money is to buy groceries at the dollar store. You can actually buy brand name food there. Some of my favs are Dole Pineapple, Kraft Dinner, Crystal Light, Ragu spaghetti sauce. All of these items are less than half price at the dollar store. I have also compiled a price comparison list of the groceries that we regularly buy so that I know where milk is the cheapest. If I need milk I will check the list and see what else is at the store and pick it up as well. Or if some store has milk on sale I can compare the price against what I usually pay. Buy in Bulk. Hope these help. pretty basic but have helped me save money.

The first step is LIVE BELOW YOUR MEANS. Don't spend more than what you're earning. It's best to track also our spending. Make a list of where you spend your money in a month to see where you can cut down your spending and make a goal every month on how much you will have to save. You can start from a low saving and then gradually increase your target.

every one's views on saving money is different and it depends on your household needs, ive gotten into the habit of cutting coupons, online news papers, magazines. i also look for brands that are on sale when i go to the supermarket, i love shopping in the clearance section, its the same at the regular aisles, just a big dfferance in price, comparision shopping is also good, always keep your eyes open for them. we myself and the children also have a money jar that we put money in my 9 years loves putting pennies init, every where we go if she finds a penny on the floor its hers for the taking lol. you can also put at least 20 a week in an account preferbly a savings where you wont be able to easily take money out and you'll be surprised of the amount you can save.good look hope some of these tips can help you out on your jourgney in saving money

Hi,first i make budget of expenditure for that month considering my income in mind. Then scrutinize the waste expenditure from budget and at the same time don't compromise on necessary expenditure. You always try to plan 15-20% of your total income as savings.Have a nice time.-double cheers

Determine your income. From there, set in your mind how much do you really want to save. If you have done that, set aside that certain amount in a more safe place where you cannot easily remember so that you will not be tempted to spend if just in case you run out of cash in hand. The remaining amount will be your budget for your expenditure for the whole days before the pay day. I will look first for my copy wherein there is an exact formula for that. Good Luck!
