My one and only time in Vegas I had a good time. I was there for a friend's wedding. We had fun, we ate, they drank, and my daughter and bf at the time went hotel hopping to find arcades. My daughter was 12 at the time. I had a wonderful time. The only issue I had was that it was too hot. We went in July which is the worse time to go. They say something about the dry heat out west, I don't know about that, it was just hot. But I have no wild stories, I didn't get drunk and especially didn't get a hangover. It was fun, I'd go back. As a matter of fact, me and some of my friends from Facebook are planning a girls escape weekend next year to Vegas. I can't wait to go. Hopefully not in July! LOL

Do you try to catch all the shows that they play in las vegas? Like the pirate shows and the mirage fire water show? I remember the first time I went those things were entertaining because that was the first time watching them, but now they are pretty boring..

I haven't been to Vegas but I think it would be a fun place to go :) I do know someone that went to Vegas to meet up with a person that they met online. The person I know was married and so was the person they went to meet. So, I guess they went to Vegas for a fling is the best way to put it :( I didn't approve of it... the lying to the spouses and all that... but, it wasn't my life or my place to say much. I found it difficult to be in the presence of that person once they got back from Vegas though... and they were whining all the time about how much they missed their online lover... especially when there spouse was right around the corner in the other room At that point, it didn't feel like what happened in Vegas stayed in Vegas... it seemed that it came back on the plane, along with the lover's leather jacket... ugh. How that got explained away, I'll never know LOL

LOL this sounds like it would make a good TV show.. haha must of been filled with drama.. It must of been very awkward for you to be in that position.. All I know is I hate to be in that kind of position.. Especially if they are my close friends or family memebers, but they respect me enough not to put me in that position in the first place. Well looks like you had a interesting experience about Las Vegas.. You should pitch that story to Hollywood! hehe

LOL! Yes, it was VERY awkward, to be honest. The person is one of my ex in-laws so, fortunately, I don't have contact with them anymore. The worst of it was, I had pretty much forgotten about the situation until one day an email showed up in my inbox. I had accidentally been included as a recipient on a message between the two online lovers *sigh* I immediately got a follow-up "OOOOOOPS!" email but I never acknowledged either of them. I could hardly believe that almost two years after the Vegas trip, they were still with their spouses and still conducting their affair. Oh well... to each their own, I guess?

Asking about things like this makes you seem a bit like a voyeur, speially since you haven't offered to tell nny stories about yourself.
