Why do you like going to the beach?

White Rock Beach with Matching Pier - White Rock's beaches are so alluring, you'd love to spend your whole day with them. There's no one to bother you, plus there are lots of places to eat and bars to enjoy. These beaches are very accessible. Just take the Vancouver Sky Train and get off at the Surrey Central station. Then take bus #421 bound for the White Rock Center. The trip is only about one hour, and it's worth it!

Yeah, tell me, in your own words, why do you like going to the beach? What's with the ocean, sand, and the coconut trees which keep you coming summer vacation after summer vacation? Why would you spend so much money to fly to Italy to sample Mediterranean-style beaches for example? Or why even venture in the Far East to get the best white sand experience? What is your favorite beach and why?

Hey, Well I like to mainly go to the beach because it really provides me with some relaxation time. It is just really great to see everyone having fun on the beach, and it is wonderful to stare at the sunset at the end of the day. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!

When you live near the ocean it just becomes an intimate part of your life. I live on Long Island and am surrounded by water, it is so calming, so peaceful. When I am sad it is good place to go to soothe me, when I am happy a good place to have fun and celebrate. The smell the sounds, I can not really explain all of it, when you grow up near the water, it is very much a part of your life.

I connect with the ocean. It relaxes my soul and touches my inner spirit. I enjoy being in the water and on the beach...feeling the sun on my face and the breeze in my hair. The sight of palm trees and coconuts makes me happy...which is why having at least one on the property was my only requirement when my husband and I were looking for a house to buy in Florida. Now I have 1100 miles of beaches to choose from and it's summer vacation all year long. It doesn't get any better than this...but if I ever run out of beaches to explore in Florida, I'll consider Italy.

Well I live in the middle of the continent, so I cannot swim in the ocean, but we have tons and tons of lakes in the area. In the summertime my friends and I often go there. I like it because it is just such a summery thing to do. The cool water also feels really nice and refreshing on a hot, humid day. It's fun because you are doing more than just sitting around talking, but it is also free. It's just a different than usual activity. I also like playing games in the water, like chicken-fighting, or flipping eachother.
