I am starting this discussion because I think it will be important and helpful. Will we know how to live on Planet Earth if we we're somehow plunged back into the dark-ages? Due to a cataclysm, asteroid, 2012, doomsday, Volcanoes, Earthquakes, Nuclear Wars/Disasters, "mount" Chyrnoble, Solar Storms, Global Warming, Climate Change, Oil/Feul Crises, Financial Crisis etc... Any one of these things, can knock out our Electrical Grid and our Automated Systems, Transport of food. Will we manage it? Do we know how to grow our own food, be our own provider? Have we forgotten our roots on Earth? I just watched an amazing documentary on Life on Earth after Humans. It was freaky to say the least. Here is a link to the full documantary on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y4R8IkSOY9k&feature=playlist&p=9E37FDFD4666D6E7 Please tell me what you think?

If technology fails, then it will be very difficult to live. Life is easy because of technology. Technology is something very good. If technology fails, then I wonder whether it would be even possible for man to survive. It is because of technology that we have been able to do so many things.

If indeed technology fails, there is no limit to man's creativity and ingenuity, he will, undoubtedly, continue to survive. After all, technology was developed and invented by men so it can only mean back to square one with whatever materials available that he can put his hands on and start working. Unless of course if what is left renders earth unhabitable and can no longer sustain life.
