flood experience

last saturday, when the typhoon hit us here in manila I am lucky to be able to get home. There are at least thousands of students from my school who were stranded. I have experience walking in flooded streets but its my 1st time to experience a flood almost waist high! i was afraid i'll fall on an open manhole or something. any similar experiences?

Luckily for me, I have not been anywhere and had to experience extreme flooding and such. I know that there are areas not too far from me that do tend to flood from time to time and it makes me Thankful I live in other areas for sure. Just wishing your area the best that you can all get back to normal soon.
