Do you think this whole mylot reputation thing is just confusing?

I have been to my lot after a month and have seen my ranking drop from 8 to 5. Isn't it weird to penalize people for inactivity.

Mylot did have a ranking system of 1 to 10 many years ago. I never understood why since it often upset members if the ranking fell.

@JolietJake I was fortunate to remain at 10, although had it fallen it would not have bothered me.

Firstly: yes, I agree! Even after about 6+ months of me being on MyLot, I still don't totally understand it or get why it's even necessary. *shrugs*. But whatever. I usually ignore it; as it doesn't really make any sense to dwell on it. And honestly, no one is rating you negatively for being inactive, I can tell you that. Why would anyone do such a thing? There are probably THOUSANDS of inactive members on MyLot - and it would firstly take WAY too much time to negatively rate them all..And second of all? Rating other people doesn't help YOU earn, as far as I know, so why would anyone bother wasting their time, unless you really teed someone off? I think you should make sure you aren't breaking the rules, or offending anyone - and keep an open-mind. It's only a number and a star - it doesn't mean that you're not welcome here at MyLot or that your peers don't appreciate your discussions.
