Do you schedule everything?

I'm awful, I'll admit it. I schedule everything from tasks at work, to phone calls to friends. Without my BlackBerry and MS Outlook I know I would be horribly, terribly lost. I drive people insane because my phone is constantly on a timer to remind me of something, or buzzing because I have an appointment, and my work computer chirps at me all day long reminding me of calls I need to make or meetings and teleconferences I need to attend. I sometimes use my dayplanner if I have an important appointment, but I'll still schedule it elsewhere electronically just in case I get sidetracked and forget to flip it open that morning. I'm efficient, I just have a terrible short term memory. Thank goodness for personal organizers! LOL What about you? Can you keep everything straight or do you rely on organization devices?

as work is routine, i don't find the need to schedule what i do. but there are things that i write down on paper or in my phone to alarm me when the day comes for them to be done. i convince myself that my memory is still "intact" , but i could not rely on it most of the time. there are things that really go off memory bank and i just need to write things .... hmmm, passwords! i need to write them on my phone or somewhere. i use different passwords for each account that i maintain.

I have a blackberry, but to be honest, I don't schedule everything. I just remember stuff. Things that are farther away i put into my blacnberry, but my daily appointments I don't.

If I seem to have a lot on the to-do-list, yes i will probably set a schedule. But then, I haven't made that as a habit. Simply because sometimes one needs to go with the flow. It might be helpful in improving one's memory and prioritize things much better.

I have organizers but just like you I forget to check on it sometimes. What I did is to put on alarm or reminder on my cellphone to remind me of what I have to do very importantly within a day. This will give me priority of what I needed to finish for in a day. But I do not schedule everything, I only schedule those work load I have to do on my regular job like phoning or request or orders and documents, reports to be submitted , checks to be sign up. On my personal task, I sometimes schedules like my friends date with me for Friday some kind of like that but not all.

That would drive me nuts--and it's a very short drive! I have a little application on my desktop called MiniMinder. It's free, of course, and I can put events and appointments in. It reminds me starting however many days before that I choose and then on the day of whatever it is, it's staring at me when I turn on my computer in the morning. That's enough for me!

Hi, breepeace, I think I am opposite with you. I am not very good at schedule everything at all. Therefore, sometimes I can't finish work on time or arrive someplace on time. I think schedule everything well is a good thing. It can help you to sechedule your time and make the best use of time. So take it easy.

Very rearly I make schedules for performing my tasks.I also use the reminder in my mobile phone to remind me of the tasks at proper time.I have experienced that making a schedule for performing tasks helps a lot to perform the works in an organised manner. When I plan to do a lot of different activities in a single day I wake up early in the morning and make a proper schedule which helps me a lot.

I generally tend to make a lot of lists, but I wouldn't call them schedules. I do have to write out everything I need to do with my day and can't usually hang on to an idea unless I put it on paper. If I don't do this I'll get panic attacks a lot of the time!

I often set up the reminder or personal organizers on my cell phone, and I worried that I will forget the close friends or familiers's birthday, the important meeting, so it's nomal, I think so. I often set up the clock alarm on the cell phone, and remind me what thing I need to do, it's my schedule, sometimes, my workmated called a crazy one, but I don't mind that, because schedule is important. so you don't need to worry about yourself, it's nomal, it proves you are a efficient one to do everything, and the things are your under control.
