Hi jugsjugs Oh my gosh I guess it has been about a year ago since I have had anything to drink. I will have to agree with you that is better to stay home. The cost of course is one but the other is it is safer. Every time I got a DD they always ended up drinking too. So now I just keep my big butt at home or within a walking distance...LOL..Have a great day and keep smiling..

Hello jugsjugs Thank you for the BR. With me being a member for about 3 1/2 months now, I know that it is hard to make that decision. I really appreciate your thoughts and remember that you are a special person. Have a wonderful day..

It has been more than 3 months since I had a drink. I do not like to drink alone, and like to have a couple of drinks with my friends. Unfortunately since all of us are busy with our respective works, we have not been able to get together. Must have a drink one of these days.

That would be September 5th at my friend's wedding reception &, before that, on my birthday at the end of June. Its not often I get the chance to drink as I'm the main driver. You're right, drinking at home is much cheaper... I'm happy enough with a £1.99 bottle of Lambrini - the whole bottle for less than a pub drink!

I have not had a drink since 2003. And I don't plan on having a drink in the future either. Have a great day.

Let me tell your something about that idea. I think you need to give up on drinking all together because what you are doing is setting yourself up for trouble. Having a drink at home before you go out? You better not be the one driving and if one of your friends also shares a drink with you at home and happens to be the one driving, that ride while going out may be your last one you ever have in your life. Think before you act and be responsible for your life and other's lives.

I belong to Muslim in religion and hence it is forbidden for me ,,, I feel it is a blessing than a curse because if it was not tere i cerainly would have been a drunkard... .Anyway i think it will be impossible for you to avoid it completely . And for me there is no worry for any money related issues.......
