What kind of perfume do you use?

What kind of perfume do you use? The cheeper but has a pretty good smell OR do you go for the actual one you really like but shouldn't spend the money on? I would get CLEAN. I love that clean, fresh smell like fresh out of the laundry clothing. Or maybe one of Este Lauders. I haven't looked in the perfume section of a expensive department store in years. I hate to go when I know I can't afford it, ya know? It is depressing and I try to stay away from depressing things. So what is the perfume you and then what is the one you buy if you could afford it?

hello there! huh! i will not spend too much for perfume! haha i like perfumes but its not enough... for me to spend thousand of pesos for this...hehe but right now, i am using perfumes from elizabeth arden, one is the red door...which i usually use for night & formal occasions...coz its kinda strong...that's why i only use a little... and another one is the green tea...lighter scent that i can use during day time and its kinda refreshing... and those were just a gift from my brother in law...haha and i just use what is available... but most of the time i just use spray colognes... i also like the clean fresh scent...as well as those floral & fruity scents...depends on my mood...

I haven't been able to get perfumes in a loooonnnngggg time and yes it is kind of depressing isn't it? There actually are very few women's perfumes I like though...the only one was Opium, but I found a sort of cheaper alternative were to buy men's colognes as most have a spicier scent that I love...but alas even the men's colognes like Fahrenheit or the men's Eternity, but are a bit much for me to buy as well.

I so agree. I think we should be given the stuff as gifts. You used to be able to buy a small tester and I can't even find those anymore.

Wow, after almost three years I saw this discussion again. Well, this was one of the first questions I asked when I just joined myLot about 3 years ago. And I'm just as happy to give my reply. I used to love Burberry but now I'm into Bulgari. My husband also prefers it's smell than the former. But for men I love givency.

Well, when you do things for the first time you will almost always remember the experience, won't you? But ask me what I replied yesterday and I won't have an idea either. LOL! No, no more burberry it's too sweet for my nose and makes me sick.

I am a fan too of Estee Lauder, Burberry, Hugo Boss woman. I find those scents smell good and elegance which match my unpredictable moods. It is also sophisticated and just a blend of floral and other scents combines definitely made the perfume unforgettable to the user and to those who happen to smell you.

My perfumes are usually given to me as gifts. And luckily, they know what I like. I usually have the same perfume. It is either a Victoria's Secret perfume that is not so strong or a frsh, lavender, cool smelling perfume.

I use both Abercrombie & Fitch's classic perfume AS well as Avon's Karmala perfume. The cheaper of the two is the Karmala perfume, but it has an amazing smell to it and only costs $20 at Avon stores. I love them both and alternate between the two of them. A&F's perfumes are a little more expensive, though, between $40-$60 usually, so it's nice to switch between cheaper and more expensive kinds.

Yes, that is what I am looking for. One cheaper to wear day-to-day and then another for special occasions that is more expensive. Thanks.

Since I am a guy I don't buy perfumes. But I do buy cologne they can be pretty pricey. So I just buy the cheap body spray from Axe. The smell is still pretty good like the more expensive colognes. It still does the trick and smell is good too.

I really Like most of the Ralph lauren line and the second gucci perfume for woman, Gucci II. I usually wear it everyday out of habit when I get ready for the day. Sometimes depending on where I am going I'll only use a small bit. For example, I go to school and have clinical rotations at different hospitals. Most doctors will say the patients have allergies, as everyone should limit what they wear.

I am not that picky about perfumes. Right now, I think it's called allure, I have in the bathroom. It's from my MIL who gave it to me because it gives her a headache. I use it from time to time, but even so I also will use axe if I don't use allure. Axe, is a man's cologne, but it's easier when on the go, and my husband doesn't mind.

Hey celtic! I love perfume, but it is so expensive and most of them don't even stay on me for long! I love Estee Lauders Perfumes. I used to wear her "Knowing" and "Pleasure"! Those were my favorites, but were very expensive! Then last year my boyfriend finally bought me a bottle of Dolce & Gabana's "Light Blue" for Christmas! It is really expensive too, but also doesn't seem to stay on me for long, but it smells so heavenly! It is a light clean fragrance! I can tell when someone else is wearing it but can't smell it on myself!

i go for Paris Hilton and Ferrogamo. True it is very expensive. However, i have an officemate who has a friend who sells these stuff at 40% cheaper. Nevertheless, i would still need to save up just to buy them.
