Whats your general reason for joining face book?

Hi apples I signed up on face book for different reasons. The first was that my cousin-inlaw was talking about farming and I thought that be nice. So I joined to start a farm. It is fun and of course addictive. I then decided to promote a site that I was working on. It helped some but not that much. Well not what I thought it would do. I still go on there and farm and do some chatting with some friends that I made. Good discussion and have a great eevening...Keep smiling...

I joined facebook simply because all my classmates and friends are active on it. I just want to be on the go with everyone. They said it has cute applications and i also find it cool so i continued to use facebook till now.

hi apples! i join facebook coz i always receive invites from some of my friends as well as from my husband! huh! i don't really like joining at first coz i am already contented with friendster...hehe coz in friendster i already find most of my friends & classmates... but now, i find facebook more interesting due to its applications! haha yes, those games are really fun and exciting...and should i say kinda addicting? and that's also the main reason now why i am always there...hehe but i also find it useful now that my highschool classmates are planning to have our reunion...we use facebook to communicate to each other and have our meetings!

I join facebook when my sister invites me to make my own account and so far i enjoy using it. It have many good features and simple layout not really th complicated style. Then, I could chat with my friends which the one I like best compare to other networking sites. The only lapses is i could not add friends easily without typing their exact names and it is also hard to make a lot of friends unless they see your accounts.

I honestly joined facebook because everybody was talking about it.. hahahaha. I was so curious that I joined, though it took me some time, because at first, facebook is kinda overwhelming.. Anyway, I think other than being up to date on my friends, I think facebook is really great in connecting friends and family who do not see each other often.. Plus the apps are really fun, I just hope my netbook would stop hanging so I can play poker again.

At first I joined facebook because my online buddy asked me to play some games with him. That time my old school and college friends haven't even signed up yet, so I only had 3 friends there, 2 e-buddies, and the other is my husband lol. Now my friends are on the list, and I use facebook to keep in touch with them.

The reason I joined facebook is mainly to keep in touch with old friends, acquaintances, and family members. It's like having a reunion without having to meet up. LOL And best of all, it is free! Happy mylotting!

Hi ya apples99 I originally joined facebook because all my friends seemed to be on it. I wasn't too sure about it when a load of my 'old' friends started to come out or the woodwork. It made me realise how much of my life had gone by and I didn't like that feeling. I don't really go on there much now.

I signed up at facebook mainly out of curiosity because I've been hearing lots of people say how wonderful it is. I think it's a good site, and so far it's the best social networking site I've ever seen. I was also a member at friendster, but I think I haven't visited it in months.

well, for me, it's quite a funny story. . I first made facebook because my brother own one, and I don't, I'm quite jealous, so I made one and then stuck, don't know what to do, LoL well, after about more than half a year, my friends were talking about it, I feel "waw, I'm water-backed." so now my motive, rather than being jealous of my brother, I'm searching for my friends and to communicate of course, especially the chat can saves up sms or telephone money for my girlfriend, LoL

I joined Facebook because a few friends were asking me to . . . I didn't want to for the longest time .. . but now that I'm there, I'm so addicted to it! So first I did it to connect with the friends I already had as it became easier to communicate with them on Facebook. Then it got interesting as old friends found me . . . and then I found other people from the past as well. I like using Facebook as a search tool . . . it's been neat to reconnect with people/friends I've met in life and to see where they are now with their lives. It doesn't mean that we have to be buddy-buddies again - it's just nice to say hello. And the more people you know, the better the network you can have! I think Facebook is already flexible - it's what you make of it. What you focus on there is your choice. I like to socialize and have fun with people I know or have known in real life. My choice is to not meet new people there - for my safety and privacy. That's just me.

I have only been a facebook member for the past few months. I originally joined the site to see if i could get reacquainted with some old friends from high school. I have found a few of them and we keep in touch. I have also made some new friends. it has been rewarding.

I joined facebook because almost all my friends are active in it. I got so many friend invitations in my mail everyday, I got fed up and joined . I also joined because facebook is one way of communicating with my girlfriend in Singapore. Happy mylotting:)

I joined Facebook after receiving an invitation from a friend. As a policy I still accept invitations only when someone I know requests directly from me and have not invited or accepted any suggestions from others.

I joined facebook initially to enjoy games like mafia war and cafe world,i would not like to use facebook now is good for time pass nothing better than it doesn't give you income nor benefits you in any work of your life, it creates a friends list but not good friends list to surf, I think mylot is far more better and good compared to facebook or orkut which just helps in connecting people at one time thats it

I am miles away from home and Facebook is a great help to get connected with my family and my friends. I can see what they are doing, what keeps them busy, and see them through pictures. The site is really a great help especially when I miss them. You could also do "socializing and fun" while being connected with your family and friends. Facebook is flexible enough, in my opinion. And not everybody wants to open their account to somebody they don't know. It's kind of scary especially with every possible methods to scam or victimize people using the Internet.

I like joining social website.. It's a good way to socialize and find your old friends too.. I joined Facebook 2 years ago, because everybody moved from Friendster to Facebook at that time.. I love the layout,the games and the applications... I found more of my old friends and my cousins here.. :D I enjoy uploading photos, and commenting on my photos and my friends' photos..

You can change your privacy and account settings if you don't want to be found by old friends/ classmates.. Settings can be found on top right of the page (facebook) I joined facebook initially to do a little networking but later on deleted some "friends" that i don't really know and just keep my relatives and actual friends.. Lately, i am having fun with few applications too.. =)

I joined facebook a long while back becasue everyone was joining it ^.^ but then i started using facebook and got hooked on to it .. if only facebook was a money earning website like myLot haha. i think facebook is generally okay and they frequently update their website they have games and quizzes too which i play sometimes out of boredom

It is in fact not quite funny place.Sometimes as I see what things people do while sitting in front of their facebook profiles I feel really strange.At the beginning I was interested in my friends photoes but then I saw that it is just a place for gossiping.Now I use it only for the chat because most of my friends are all day long on fb.
