How do you feel after playing SIMS 2 for hours?

I confess, I really am a Sims 2 addict that whenever there's no class or there's plenty of free time, I'd be on the computer for hours and hours. Really! After playing for like, 5 hours straight, I feel like I've suddenly developed a mild case of schizophrenia because I'm detaching from reality. When I was the dishes for example,my left finger itches to press the fast forward button so that the task could be finished right away. Another is when my rooms a mess and I'd have to tidy up, I feel like typing "move_objects on" and delete all the offending trash from my room. How about you, what are your stories? I'd really love to hear them. ^^

Your saying that whilst your doing these chores in real life you want to press the fast forward button or type that command in so as to be able to get rid of the trash? My husband and I have the Sims and Sims 2 on the game cube, but we borrowed the sims 2 on pc from my uncle. I got the sims 3 for my birthday but it doesn't work on our computer.

This is an interesting discussion, and I am sure that a lot of people out there are addicted to The Sims 2,me and my wife have The Sims 2 on Game Cube, and we borrowed it for the PC from her uncle but we gave it back because we have nothing to do with him,and The Sims 2 is a lot of fun,and me and my have sat down and played it on co-op for several hours at a time,I love the fact that you have things to do to get one hundred percent completion, and those are the types of games I like, and hopefully me and my wife will sit down and play it again soon, since we recently bought another Game Cube controller since one of our old ones stopped working, have a great day, good luck with your life, and all of your mylotting goals, and Happy Posting.

Yeah it is a good way to bond and that is awesome that you and your boyfriend play it together as well, and I agree it is a good way to make future plans, and I hope your plans do come true in the future, just like I hope mine and my wifes future plans come true, which I think if we pray to God and ask him to watch over us,and work hard we will make our dreams come true, and we will always be together, and I will always love her with all of my heart and soul, have a great day, good luck with your life, and all of your mylotting goals, and Happy Posting.

I haven't played for ages, but was just about to! Thought I'd just take a look on Mylot first - and saw your discussion. I have had the same sort of things that you mentioned happen to me when I was playing a lot. Another really weird thing that I have noticed is that when you hear the toddlers talking on Sims2 you think it sounds unrealistic, but several times when I've been out shopping I've heard children sounding exactly like they do on the game.

well then, start playing again! ^^ you will really appreciate the game more when you are always playing it. i am looking into installing sims 3 for my laptop but am still considering the system requirements. sims 3 has new features that makes the game more realistic and interesting. hope you'll try that too. ^^

I do! When i start playing it, I get so into it that I often do not realize I have already spent a few hours playing it. and it doesn't help that I am using my psp to play this one, which enables me to play this basically wherever i am, which i think is fueling the addiction.

the same it true with me! ^^ i am playing it on my laptop now that's why i can always play it when there's a conducive place for it. try installing sims 3 because it has additional features that you'd really find interesting. ^^
