Manchester United 2 - 2 Sunderland

The result looks bad but if you watch the game it's obvious United were extremely lucky to get a point in this game. I have never seen Manchester United give the ball away so much. It was so bad that Scholes had to be substituted during half time because he can't complete his passes. It was a nightmare to watch. As a United fan I hope this is just a bad day in the office and not a sign of things to come. What do you guys think of the match?

I'm pretty sure that they will play much better in the next game. They have to if they want to challenge for the league this year anyway. Chelsea looks solid.

I hope so too. Watching them in the other matches in the League and in Europe it just seems like a day off though. One Ferdinand or the other comes to the rescue no doubt!

I agree that this is definitely an off day, but I wonder if this is where we miss Ronaldo the most. I can't help but think that if we had Ronaldo for that game, the result might have been different. We can all remember matches when we played awfully and he was the one who suddenly pops up with something, against Fulham 2 years ago for example.

I did not watch the match but listened on the radio and it seemed like a case of Sunderland really playing well. In the Premier League any team can win a game against the top teams. It just shows United's spirit that we managed to equalise late on. I am sure we will get back on track in the next game.
