The stupid storyline

I am really getting tired of this stupid storyline that Y&R is doing with Adam? How can Ashley not know that she didn't give birth (it is not her first baby) and how can one person be so controlling everyone's lives? I don't want to see Sharon and Nick suffer like this with the loss of another child and I don't want to see Ashley get attached to the new baby and how odd that she would change the name to exactly the name that Sharon and Nick had for their child. This storyline is about too much and to stupid for me.

...Hi there carolcash, I always wonder if other watchers of Y & R feel the same as I have been feeling lately with the way the show has been going. You basically know you are watching a Soap Opera, so you go along with certain things. But Ashley delivers, what air? Sharon has a baby that doesn't cry while she is at the insane asylum? No evidence of a birth anywhere. Nicky is in a direct path of Ashley's car, the car is dented, nothing to show she hit a tree or something? Tracy's overacting is a pain. Adam and the doctor have done the unbelievable, grabbing a baby to give to Ashley who thinks she gave birth. Nick not wanting to see the baby that was kicking like crazy and all of a sudden is too deformed to live? These things beg you to suspend reality too far beyond belief. Has anyone found out if the rumor that they were going to cancel the show are true? They are killing off people one by one, and it would seem that if Victor passes away, it may be over. I thought Nikki was gone for good, and wallah she reappears, alive and well. The beat goes on, but the over stretching of the imagination needs to stop. Take care.

Yeah, they just drag the storylines out so long that they get ridiculous and then they exaggerate the ridiculousness into stupidity. Like you just mentioned...and we are supposed to believe all those things and be anxious to tune in tomorrow?? Not me.

There is a golden rule while in stories, 'No Questions in a story'. Rather than thinking practically, we should realize that it's only a story & take things positively & then I might be able to enjoy the movie in a better way. That's how I thinks. Happy Lotting

I know that it is only a story, but it should be a logical storyline.

I agree. It is just absurd, even for a soap, to think the viewers would come even close to beleiving that Adam could get away with everything he has gotten away with. Not only would he have been incapapble of doing most of it, but we are to beleive that everything(like Nikki's letters, Ashley thinking she is going into hysterical labor at the same time as Sharon, etc., etc.) keeps falling into his lap for him to keep pulling his tricks.

I've been tired of Adam for so long...but it just doesn't end. I guess the writers are trying to show that Adam is trying to "make up" for his past mistakes, albeit in a very evil way. I mean he's giving Ashley's baby "back" by taking away Sharon's baby. It's quite cruel to everyone. I wish Dr. Taylor would come clean before this goes too far. Or maybe Victor will suddenly remember what Adam said to him when he was sleeping. Even Patty could blow the whistle on Adam. Unfortunately, I could also see this deception continuing for months as well...blegh!

I think that Dr. Taylor should come clean but that means that Adam will tell that the doctor molested his friend Skye, who was killed by David Chow.

I think that Adam is still being cruel and evil. I wish that Dr. Taylor would come clean, but he doesn't want anyone to know that Skye accused him of molesting her.

hello carolcash, that's the problem with making stories now in either series or books, they tend to be much similar to the other, and some times too similar to comfort.most people in my country watch so much drama movies that they feel they can relate to. well, if the story line is repeated through other series or tele-novela's then it get's absurd or bored.
