All My Children is so boring now! Good grief.. what is with writers these days? What isn't stupid in the first place is drawn out into oblivion and drug out till we don't even care the out come!! I mean.. who got shot? Been talking about someone being shot for 6 months now....oh, yeah... I remember.. Stuart... and no one has been convicted yet? But I like to watch for the entertainment, but since there hasn't been any for so long, I make my own.....so tell us.... What is your favorite storyline of all time on All My CHildren? I've been watching since 1971. Not a huge fan ever, and can't stand Erica and anything she does or is involved in, so I don't have a really favorite part but I guess too choose would be when Myrtle came to town as the x-circus whatever she was. Her and Langly Walingford who just married Phoebe Tyler, the shows matriarch. Brooke/Benny/Estell was a good enough one... the rich girl, the motorcycle bum and the hooker! So what is your favorite storyline on All My Children?

Oh that all brings me back! Remember Taylor Miller (forget her character's name but she was Palmer's daughter) and Peter Braeden (he was a Tyler, forget which one). What ever happened to their characters?

Taylor MIller was Nina Courtlandt. She was okay... I could take or leave.. depending on the storyline. Peter Bergman played her husband Cliff Warrner, much disliked by Palmer Courtlandt which was a constant storyline. They married and then divorced then remarried and I beleive it was athey that had a son who came back as a teenager and got Kelsey Martin (Jeff and Tara Martin's daughter I think) and got her prego. Yada yada. But Peter Bergman left AMC and went to Y&R as Jack Abbott and has been there for 20 years or so. He is so good on that show! I much prefer JAck over Cliff!!!

I do like him as Jack! But if Victor leaves, who is he going to feud with?

I would have to choose either the storyline of Opal coming to town and seeing Tad and Jenny for the first time in alot of years...or the whole Greg/Jenny/Liza storyline. I am so disappointed that Liza is back in her conniving ways. I thought she was over all that, and had become someone you could count on. But I guess second nature for her is to tell lies to get what she wants...just like her telling Greg she was pregnant to get him away from Jenny all those years ago.

I have always loved Opal! She was such a hoot when she was first introduced and played by Dorothy Lyman! The current one... when she first came aboard.. I was skeptical..no one could top Dorothy! But she has kept at it and she has turned out to be a hoot to!!! I wish they'd do more with her. The Jenny/Greg/Liza line.. yeah, that was pretty good. Add to it, Jesse and the foursome was a rather good and touching group and storyline. That was back when the storylines had heart and sole and character. All those are sadly missing these days!

I haven't watched it as long as you and I just can't remember too many of the storylines themselves. I did like the early Tad & Dixie ones which may not have been the earliest. I tend to like actors more than some of the storylines and so like the storylines they are in a little better if my favorite actors are presented well. I always liked Dixie and I liked the storylines when her neice came to town but that was so short; I don't know what happened to that young actress but I thought that besides being very beautiful, she was very good.

I go either way.... storyline or character. I dont' even remember Dixie's neice. I never like the Brooke character.. to self righteous and arrogant in her later years! Now when she was young and with Benny Sego...and her best friend was hooker Estelle who later had a child and went off into the sunset with Benny... those were the good ol' days!

My favorite story line of all time on All My Children was probably the original courtship of Tad and Dixie. Back when he defended her against Adam when Adam had her committed and Tad saved her. I also kind of liked some the Janet From Another Planet stuff, I loved Trevor and Natalie, I really miss the Trevor character. Of course I also loved the Erica Kane glamour scenes back when she was modeling. I have been watching for a lot of years. I think this move they are doing is really going to hurt the show. I am very sad about that.

Oh yeah... Janet from another planet! Forgot about her! Yeah, that was a fun one! I liked Treavor too.But as usual, they always kill off the good ones! I don't really care either way, but from your point of view... why is the move from NY to LA going to hurt the show? They probably take or recreate all the main scenery so everything appears the same....it is mostly on set shooting anyway... so what is it about the move that will mess up the show? I know a few of the actors don't want to make the move so they are exiting the show, but so what. They replace characters all the time. Things will be more expensive out here and salaries might not be as high or increase as much, but other than that, I don't see how the move will hurt anything.

I loved the original Opal - Dorothy something. She later played Naomi on Mama's Family... another hilarious funny show! But she was hilarious on AMC!!! This new one... she's growing on me as funny and a breath of fresh air.. the silliness is alot of fun.

I liked the whole terror reign of Ray Gardner. He was a such a menace, pure hell on wheels.

Ray Gardner was a creep. Him and Billy Clyde Tutthill! THey haven't had anything so sleezy on in recent years! David is crap but at least he is educated and intelligent and all! He's the only bad guy on the show now!! I am tired of him tho.. I know they have to have a villian, but he is just so "in your face" ALL THE TIME!!!!!
