Do you feel tired in life?

I feel tired of doing the same things over and over again, like groceries, chores, some kinds of work. Seems like when I was a kid, there was always a lot of time, and the only problem was getting bored. There was lots of stuff I wanted to do, but either my parents didnt let me or didn't want to pay for any kind of extracurricula activity. It feels like I wasted a lot of time as a kid because I couldn't explore my potential. I can now, but now everything feels so tiring, and everything is such a chore. Tiring, like relationships that end that weren't great in the first place, work, education, life building, that seems most of the time like trying to sort out problems. health problems, trying to manage time to see friends and socialise, everything turns into some kinda ongoing dilemma instead of being fun. How can I keep myself going and make it fun again?

i was just thinking the same thing. sometimes life can seem so mundane but you have to look for fun things to keep it not so mundane. i visit the library a lot and read books plus i do a lot of arts and crafts so that keeps me happy.

Yeah thats true! When I keep my calendar filled with new things and things I want to do, it makes it easier to get through the mundane bits. Because then you already have a shortage of time and don't really think about boring stuff like your groceries, you just get it done! :D

Sorry to hear :((. Yeah life can get so tiring as an adult!! I think people don't always talk about it to their friends, but it can get so dissatisfying, work work work, tied to money and tied to what you need to do, instead of what you want to do. And when you do fit in the things you want to do, it makes ur life busy busy busy without a moments rest : OOO

You are not alone. Everyone has days when staying is bed and hiding from the world is the most appealing option, but not a choice. Everyone, at one time or another, has issues of boredom and feelings of wanting to get away from the mundane chores of everyday life. We would like to take a long vacation on the French Riviera or run away and do something exciting. I am sorry that you are feeling this kind of pain for an extended period of time. I cannot fully understand what you are going through, but I can offer compassion. Please see someone before this takes over and become debilitating. Depression hurts and it hurts all over. If you need a friend, I am here for you. God bless.

Sometimes the only thing to do is to make the time for new activities. That might mean skipping out on some chore or finding some way to make it quicker, or it might mean changing your lifestyle to accommodate the ability to go after your interests. Nothing depresses me more than not having the time or energy to pursue my personal interests, so I make a great effort to devote time to what I want to do. Sometimes that means I don't make my bed or do the dishes right away.

Yeah thats true. I leave the dishes in the sink if its reasonable to, because I know I will have energy to do it when I'm having more fun :o.
