Hi, upgradation process just depends upon your requirements and most probably your budget. You can add a 2GB single module to your system to make your total memory to 3GB. Next comes the graphic card. Well its a complicated issue as you've not mentioned what is your budget and which all games you need to play. I am suggesting 3 types or categories of graphic card from which one might suits your requirement and budget. 1. Light gaming--Like NFS MW, Carbon,Undercover,FIFA,Counter Strike,GTA and all low memory consuming games... For this category go for NVIDIA 9400GT 512 MB/1GB DDR2(best suited for these games in maximum resolution) 2.Moderate Gaming--Like NFS Shift,NFS Undercover,NFS Prostreet,GTA-4,HALO,Far Cry,Crysis(in low or mid resolution) Go for NVIDIA 9600GT or 9800GT 512MB/1GB DDR3 or ATI Radeon 4650HD or 4670HD 1GB DDR3 3. heavy Gaming--Like Crysis(full HD in 1600x1280),Supreme Commander, Sacred 2, Assassin Creed ,Lost Planet and all other high end games all in highest resolution. These are the games which require high end Graphic card and High CPU too(core 2 duo aor above). For this category, go for NVIDIA 9800GT Extreme 1GB DDR3 Overclocked or, NVIDIA 260 GTX or 285 GTX or the best 295GTX(1.75GB) or ATI 4870HD or 4890HD 1 GB DDR5. Both Nvidia and ATI are best graphic card chipset manufacturer. So i've given you my opinion on your question. So go for graphic card which suits your requirement and budget. Happy gaming....

Yup bro, i've done a good research on this typical graphic card issue and i've found it very interesting. Well i'm a gamer and programmer typo person and even take part in gaming fest which are organized in our college or city but out of the above mentioned games, i can only play games upto Light or normal gaming category as my system doesn't allow me to play other heavy games as i didn't have graphic card now as currently i'm am short of money but hope to get a new one soon. But i play other heavy games on my friend's pc who had a graphic card. So i knew about most of the games minimum requirements and which graphic card can handle which type of game easily. So buy only that graphic card which comes in your budget and suits your requirements. Have a nice day and happy gaming....

You can add additional 1Gb memory to make it a 2Gb memory, then for your video card try buying the latest Nvidia GeForce series or the latest ATI Radeon series.. Check this site for the top pc video card.. http://internetgames.about.com/od/hardware/tp/tpvideocards.htm
