When you loose weight without exercise you tend to gain it back quickly sometimes with more added on. You do not need to completely cut out sweets just use portion control. Pretty much anything that gets your pulse racing for about 30 min at least 3 days a week will help you loose weight. Also you will lose more weight if you switch to vegan or vegetarian diet. You may also want to try cooking your own meals, instead of boxed dinners. That way you have more control over what you are eating/how much fat you are getting.

To be candid, most if not all mylotters have spoken irrefutably well! The facts are these, even as Lincoln said & i stress that "information is power". He who is not informed is deformed hook, line & sinker.if most people here weren't informed, they would have adviced you to go ahead with pills as the swiftest means of getting down the fats in you! The shortest means many will say remains the most dreadful means & this is even where that comes to play the more. If you take pills, obviously, that will expedite your rate of weight loss which haplessly enough is only temporary! Just EXERCISE,EAT LESS SATURATED FATS,RESORT TO FRUITS & VEGETABLES AS MAIN MEALS,AVOID FAST FOODS,SUGAR AND ITS AFILIATES & AVOID BEEN A MORIBUND. In less than 4wks,you'll see amazing results!

Hi there, and welcome to MyLot! Unfortunately, quick weight loss is often regained! In my personal experience, the best way to lose 40 lbs. or more is to eat what you like, but cut back on how much and how often you eat the high calorie foods. Thirty minutes, or even twenty, of exercise, such as walking and then adding some exercise to build muscle also helps drastically! Muscle burns more fat all day long and boosts the metabolism. Just make sure whatever exercise you choose is "fun," and you are more apt to stick with it. Think things such as dancing, sports, playing outside with the kids, etc. Even housework gives one exercise, though you may not consider it fun lol. Some known foods that "fill you up and not out": fiber found in whole grains, nuts, and seeds...fruits and veggies with no sugar or added salt...popcorn without the butter...healthy fats such as olive oil...natural peanut butter....lean meat...fish! Focus on these filling foods, even at snack time. A little bit of dark chocolate each day is healthy, and so is green or black tea. Drinking one glass of cold water before each meal also helps one eat less. So will chewing each bite thoroughly! It has also been proven that getting enough sleep and using stress reducing techniques help us lose weight and keep it off! Best wishes... Karen

Quick is the problem here. You didn't gain the extra weight quick and you won't lose it quick in a healthy way either. The best way is to plan to lose about 2 lbs per week. Drink 64 oz of water every single day (at least). Sleep 8 hours every night. Do aerobic exercise 30 minutes 5 times a week. Do weight training exercise twice a week. Eat clean. This means cutting out processed foods. Eat lots of fruit and veggies. Eat complex carbohydrates like oatmeal or brown rice. This is all you need for successful weight loss. It's difficult though, I won't lie to you. It's a lifestyle change that you really have to want and be dedicated to. Good Luck.

Hi, chellnmike Welcome to Mylot! I agree with syndibee that quick would be a problem. Whatever diet plan you choose, the weight loss must be gradual. I think anything quick would be either unhealthy or not so successful because the weight would just come right back. Furthermore, I think all weight loss plans involves exercise. There are good diet pills in the market that would only assist you in losing weight and would still advice you to exercise. Cheers!

All of your previous respondors have given you excellent advice I think. Most of the diet pills and "lose weight fast" programs out there are very short term weight loss. Losing weight quickly doesn't usually stay off so what you want to do is lose it slowly over time by eating properly and having smaller portions so that the weight loss that you experience becomes long term and eventually eating this way will become a way of life. Unfortunately, most of us want instant results when we want to lose weight and that is why all these Diet Pill companies make so much money. They prey on society's wish to become thin almost overnight!
