All of us knows how to pray. But it's that that easy to pray as we usually think. prayer requires sincerity and devotion. The question is what is the right way to utter our prayers to God. Does anyone of you here knows what is the right way to utter our prayers to Him?

Isn't prayer nothing more than communication????? God hears it all anyway. All one has to do is start talking. In my younger day, I was at the zoo. I saw the fattest girl you ever saw sitting on a park bench. I said: God! Who would ever go out with that girl???? I went on my way. One night I got a call on my telephone. A girl with a sexy voice. She was so nice I asked her out on a date. When I arrived at her house, I discovered it was the girl on the bench at the zoo. Somehow she got my number. I say again: God! Who would ever go out with her???? God's reply:: YOU!Though it didn't work out for me and this girl. I did learn a lot. There are many sides to beauty. This girl was beautiful in her own way.So, when you are talking to God, whether asking for something or just asking a question, BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU ASK FOR!!!!!! GOD IS LISTENING!!!!!!

the best way in praying...pray in your closed door...pray to God in spirit and in truth not with many statue or images..because God does not allow to pray in images made by man

I dont pray but regardless of that I really dotn think there is any wrong or right way EXCEPT maybe arrogance...I mean if you do pray you can't IMO do it with a "give it to me right now cause i want it/deserve it" type mindset..Other than that though whatever method works for a person is whats right for that person ya know...Its like meditation for me...I meditate and may not do it like anyone else does (method wise I mean) but thats fine becuase how I do it is the right method FOR ME and thats whats important in my life ya know...

hi earlzhan, I am from India and hindu and i do pray daily to the god even if it is for 5 minutes and like most hindu homes we do have a small temple inside our home and i would light insent sticks and then pray to the gods and there is no proper way to pray as god doesnt need right words or how u can pray but did you put ur heart in prayers or not. So dont worry about right way..just pray with heart.

Hello friend, The only way of proper prayer is...to pray from our heart. The sincerity and not the showy ways of praying. Praying inside your own room with no one to see you is much better coz,you can concentrate more and can talk to GOD with all your heart and mind. Try to offer your prayers from your innermost being, shut your ears from your surroundings as if you were all alone, take time to concentrate and meditate. And when you feel the peace within, start talking to God,like HE is just besides you, like a son/daughter confessing to your mom or dad. Express your emotions and feelings freely as if you doesn't care anyone could hear you crying. Im sure you would feel relief after talking with God thru prayers.

I believe that there is no right or wrong way to pray to God as long as it is spoken by good words. But if we need a guide we can use the "Our Father" as an outline.I usually starts my prayer with praises and thanksgiving to His faithfulness in my life and to my family.I followed it with asking for forgiveness of what i have done wrong to Him and to other people and every thing I want to tell Him just follows as I continue on my prayers and I close it with exaltation to His son's name Jesus.Prayer is our way to communicate in Him.It does not require any extraordinary talent to do it.Just do it with a sincere heart and God will hear you clearly.

I don't know if there is really any "right" way to pray. You can pray anywhere at anytime! You can pray while driving, working, playing, etc. The important thing is: that you pray. I pray throughout the day. I always thank God before every meal. I pray when I get a prayer request from an email, Facebook, etc. God is always with us ready to listen and ready to speak to us. It is also very important to read His Word, the Bible, everyday. I do this at night before I go to bed. It is my alone time with God. I read my devotional book (the devotion for the day), read the Bible and get on my knees by my bed and talk to my heavenly Father. I am at such great peace when I do this! It is an awesome time for me! Just me and the Lord. I talk to Him and I listen to Him. There is awesome power in prayer! God is so good to us...ALL the time and we should be very thankful for the awesome privilege of being able to come to Him at any time. Pray without ceasing! God bless! ~Spring

Hi EARLZHAN, The best prayer is a life well lived. I don't believe that words are necessary or do any good at all. Religion has created the idea of praying in words but as we all know, actions speak louder than words. A supreme being would know if we were really sorry or not for things we have done and there is no point in saying something that isn't true. Neither would such a being require or need praise and worship from us. Putting words to prayer is strictly for our own benefit. Blessings.

the simplest way to describe how to pray is talk to God. If you ran out of words then you can use the bible and you will never ran out anymore. The bible is best way to use for prayer because that is God way of thinking is language. If you want the best do it the God's way pray the bible.

Regardless of how you pray.. I think it's really how sincere you are in your prayers.. some people would kneel, some prefer to stand up, some would only pray if inside a church or a place of worship. Me? I pray whenever I feel like praying, whereever I maybe. I think the most important part is that you have a communication with Him, and you are sincere in what you're doing.

I don't think there is a right and wrong way to pray. As long as your prayer is from your heart then God listens. Some people use structured prayers from their religion, while others are spontaneous. As long as you have faith and are sincere, I believe your prayers will be heard and answered. I am into yoga, so I do a little breathing exercise before I pray or meditate. This helps to clear the clutter and I find that I am more open sincere in my prayers. Otherwise I'm like everyone else and my mind is running 100 mph. If the mind is restless I don't think we can concentrate so well. Everyone has their own style and should do what feels comfortable for them. If your not comfortable with a certain way of praying then you should find one you are comfortable with.

I think you just have to be sincere, and speak from the heart, when praying. God will hear you, and answer you, if he knows you truly have faith in him.

I pray like the bible say - Our father who art in heaven hallow be thy name - The lords prayer. But I also fellowship, The lord is our Father and he wants us to come to him talk to him fellowship with him. If you needed something from your mom or dad you would tell them what you need and I believe thats how our father wants us to fellowship with him. He wants you to tell him how you are feeling and tell him thank you and just converse with him!

regardless of which deity you pray to there should be no right or wrong way to do it as long as your prayers are sincere and from the heart the words and gestures shouldnt matter your deity knows your heart and will answer all prayers no matter how the prayers are delivered
