Perhaps you should show us more information about the error. Sometimes, the new version of Windows live may be not compatible with your Windows operating system. Of course, you can't remove it for it is the attached software with Windows OS. So, you'd better download the old version and install it to put a cover over the latest version. When installed, you would log into Windows Live. Good luck!
