can the food you eat affect your energy?

a friend tells me that the food we eat affect our energy.if we eat healthy,we will work more efficiently,because we have much more energy.so he does not recommend me to eat outside.the restaruants always make unhealthy food.how do you think?now i make my own food,but i do not have enough time to do it everyday.

Your friend is correct. The food in the restaurants are not good for you. They will make you gain weight. Gaining weight your energy level goes down. That is why I eat 99.9% of the time at home. Depending on what you eat will either bring down the energy level or raise it. Fruits, veggies, protein and fiber foods are good for you and your energy level. Sugar and white color foods are not good for you and will be down your energy level.
