I love the films but I agree that they don't do the books any justice, they miss so much out and I think some of it is really important to the story.

I think all HP fan will completely agree that the adaptation is not as good as the book. It will not and never will. Harry Potter is a book with hundreds of pages which impossible to be made in 2 or 3 hours movie. Besides, there are some text that just cannot be translated into moving images. I just hope for a nice adaptation of the book coming in the final installment. The last one is good (although many of you may disagree), but the fifth one is the worst. I still wonder why they're keeping David Yates as the director. I much prefer Alfonso Cuaron approach in HP 3. It's dark, gloomy, and although some important plot cut from the movie, it's very enjoyable.

I started reading from HP and the Goblet of fire... the reason for my reply is what "important plot" was cut from the book? As I mentioned I started reading from the fourth book and have never read the third (Prisoner of Askaban) in the series.

I liked the first movie though, the most accurate one if i remember correctly. No, the movies don't do justice to the books but it's the way it always turns out in the end. You can't put everything in the movie but I think that if they were more concentrated on the story rather than on the money they could have made better (more accurate) movies. As movies alone they're are ok but if you know how the books look like you'll hate them:)

When i was reading the book, i was so fascinated i remember one part of the book and when the movie came on the big screen (movie house) that part was totally wicked.. i mean there's a lot of changes in the story. The book was different from the movie.. It was a kind of diffrent of the two.
