I remember when i was still in my college days i would take vitamins and memory enhancer to help me in my stressful exams. I was wondering this would really work for everybody. Do these stuff really helps? Or it was just a psychological effect of depending on medicine when you cram over during exam days. what is your experience my fellow mylotters?

I used it during exam but mainly is to stay awake that night to study. I took energy drink like red bull or lipovitan nothing else. My cousin convince me to try the essence of chicken but the taste really sucks so all went to waste on the tiolet bowl. I prefer group study rather than taking memory enhancer for those stressful exams as I am much secure that the level of my knowledge is the same as my groupmates. Added to that, it will be fun on the side being with your friends, have it as a stress reliver while studying.

Group study is fun, you could discuss with your friends to what extent have you learn. But in my experience, my group study during my college years turn out to be a gossip study rather than group study. I agree energy drinks really helps to keep you awake, i tried several times.

I do not know exactly the main ingredient for that but the most famous of it it the BRAND'S essence of chicken. It helps a person to be mantally allert and to enhance the cognitive response of a human being. Thus, it was popular for the student to take it before exams.

Yes i do take them occasionally. my mom used to force them on me all the time. and i admit, it really does help, i discovered that after taking the meds i felt more energetic and my brain worked faster. i'm guessing that it's due to the effects of the benefits of the "natural" fruits and vegetables all in one little pill. i try not to take more than two per day though. it may not be a psychological effect but more like a placenta in which you think it helps to study.

i disagree. i don't think it causes drowsiness, but rather, the effects of it could fade because you are taking them too often and too much. just a thought though. cheers!

I agree with you that it does help. I don't think it will be made if it doesn't help. It's good that you don't take more than what is prescribe for it may cause drowsiness.

Hi, Jenzai! I heard about that and saw those bottles of 'memory booster'. I am not sure whether it works or not because I have never tried and I would not dare to. I was afraid that it would have long term effect on the memories if one stops the intake and low self-confidence especially when sitting for exams or any tests in his or her future undertakings because of relying on it too much.

Oh yes, I only took vitamin C to keep my antibody strong though so that I did not fall sick, which would be difficult for my mind to focus.

Sad that you flunked..lol..blame it to the vitamins. I agree with you that we would depend in vitamins forgetting that we need the inner will to pass the subject. At least we learn from our mistakes.

I don't use memory enhancers because I don't believe in them. I'd rather eat fruits and vegetables that could naturally enhance my memory. Another reason is that I believe in myself

When I was a high school student, I really took DHA, EPA,and so on, this kind of things to enhance my brain. Beacause you konw, university entrance examination is so improtant in our country. But actually, I really dont't konw it works or not. And I think I don't have the psychological effect depending on the medicine. on the other side, I do have the psychological effect denpend on the feeling that I must study hard. Even I already have the ability to get A, I still think I have to study hard and spent more time. Then I can have a better mood when I took exam. Under the great pressure, it's nomal to have some psychological effect.Nowadays, I think i am more mental strong than befor, and I believe I can be much more better later!

I agree with you gohigh that giving your best effort and time is still the solution to any kind of stressful exam. it would give one confidence if one were able to study all the coverage of the exam. Well vitamins my sometimes help i guess so..lol.
