What is success for you?

Everybody has a different notion of what success is. Success to one person could be failure to another. What is it, that would or already does make you feel successful? Maybe its family, or career, school, wealth. For me, it's music. I want to be able to tour with a band around the US. That's success to me, going to higher levels would be great, but a US tour would be enough success for me to die happy.

For me, my success is my family. I have had four children, and now have a lovely family, a great husband, a loving family home, which is something i was deprived of, and craved, when i was young, so i feel i have been successful, as a mum, raising my four children, in a family orientated, happy home. All my kids are close to each other, and to me. I could not wish for much more...

That's a good thing, for that to be your success. It's more rewarding than what most people strive towards. I would like that in my life, also, but music is more important to me right now. Maybe one day my views will change.

I think I already have all the things I dreamt of except for one thing - being able to live in another land. I've always wanted to live in another land for at least 2-3 years and then went back home. I'm not sure if it's consider as a success but to me being able to conquer another land would be awesome and yeah, it would be enough for me to die happy too. :)

That's a very cool goal, Mathilda! I would love to do the same. What countries would you want to live in? I'd love to live in Japan for awhile, although, the culture shock would be crazy. I think it would be fun though.
