how to selling home made cookies?

Hi raini. I'll suggest you one idea . why don't you keep a new brand name to your cookies and start publicizing it. sell your cookies in bakery's by reducing price compared to other cookies. This what I did when i started a business of a home made chocolates prepared by my mother.

Especially homemade products are usually have been tasted by your closer friends and relatives. If they fine it delicious. Try to make them your first market. And ask them about their friends that could possible your market too.

Hi, I have never sold my cookies here you are not allowed to sell food items for profit with out a licence. You can donate them for a charity for a bake sale, but can not sell them. But if you get a licence you can sell them. I think if you don't have a bakery the best thing to do would be to sell them to restaurants for them to sell, or they could be sold on line. Or through friends and relatives. I am glad you were able to sell some. That is good for you.

I was thinking of doing the same thing but have yet to get started.

you can sell the home made cookies , in ur locality , in the shops which sell bakery and cookies items , u have to directly deal with them , but u would have to take care of packing and its expenses , and the packing has to be good enough to attract customers

Maybe you could post them on a website with testimonials from your friends. There is info. on the internet about how to do this kind of thing. i would look at it and determine how you want to do it. I'm sure it can be done.

You could set up a stall at the local market and get people to taste them so that they will want to buy them. Setting up a website would be a good idea. Giving samples at the local shopping centre would familiarise the public to your product. I guess the idea is to get as many people as possible to try them.

You could go to different events in your town and sell them there. Maybe sell some to friends and ask them if they know anyone who might want to buy some. What do you mean by 50 jar by credit per month?

Try selling at local markets and craft shows. Print up business cards and attach them to cookie packages with the information to contact you with orders. From experience I would also package them up in Gift form on either nice plates or baskets and say that you will make these up for people on order. Many people like to bring cookie gifts to parties, gatherings, hospitals or other events.

Hi Raini. I suggest you put up an online shop where people from your country can order cookies pre-order online. Pre-order because of course they have to order first before you make the cookies and ship it to them. I think putting up an online shop is a pretty good idea because you can use paypal as a payment acceptance tool. Just price your cookies accordingly and remember to use good packaging and I think your business will be a success. Good luck on your money-making venture. :)
