What do you think of the Justice System?

I have noticed that there are a lot of times when our justice system seems to work backwards of what it should. I understand that it can be a very tricky situation during a trial, and I do feel that the system is better than nothing, but I believe that it could be controlled a lot better. I have personally followed stories where someone with no physical evidence and who pleaded not guilty were convicted and given a very stiff sentence. At the same time, people who admitted that they committed the crime were given either a very short sentence or community service. Personally, I don't call this "justice". What do you think?
