I can not believe that there are no discussions for Totoro! (maybe there's some under My Neighbor Totoro but I'm too lazy to look...) This is perhaps the BEST animated movie ever! Including all of what Pixar has done - and that is saying a lot! Family. Parents. Siblings. Friendship. Nature. Spirit. Co-existing. Helping. Honoring. Trusting. Loving. Life, Death. Growing Up. It's all in there! It's a great movie! And while I like to listen to the Japanese soundtrack and read the English subtitles, the version that Disney distributes with Dakota Fanning and her sister Elle as the two sisters, is also fun to listen to. Try it out!
